Fixes docs that contradicted each other or the SDK. Facts the API can't show come from the product owners; API facts were checked against the API reference and the published npm packages.

MatrixScan

Fixes two copy-paste errors: the iOS MatrixScan Find page named MatrixScan Count and the Barcode Count mode, and the MatrixScan Pick intro named MatrixScan Find.

Parser

The product description no longer lists AAMVA among the supported formats.

Express (confirmed by the product owner)

  • Scanning modes: Single (Smart Scan Selection) replaces Accuracy and Speed from Express 4.3.0 on iOS and 4.4.0 on Android. Batch scans all visible barcodes and needs a MatrixScan license and list building. List building collects scans into a list, works in both modes and doesn't need a MatrixScan license. The overview and configuration pages previously disagreed on which modes exist.
  • Scan Labels: the label types use the Dashboard names, Smart Device Label, Price Label and VIN Label, matching the page's screenshot. "Price Weight" was wrong.

Device pairing

  • The setBarcodeLinkMode setting is called "Barcode Link mode", so it isn't confused with the app's Single and Batch modes.
  • Symbology examples use the BarcodeLinkSymbology constants. The hand-typed ean13upca key was wrong; the key is ean13Upca.
  • A warning that setBarcodeRegexValidation drops regex flags, so /abc/i becomes abc/.
  • finished is described as the end-of-session signal in every mode, and the quick-start example checks it.
  • Corrected initialize() and dispose() signatures, an import for BarcodeLinkHeadlessFlow in its example, and a note that setDisconnectionTimeout needs 1.2.0.

Versioned docs

The Express and device pairing corrections are also applied to the 7.6.15 copies. The 7.6.15 device pairing page is brought up to date with 1.2.0, because npm install without a version installs it: it now uses BarcodeLinkHeadlessFlow instead of the deprecated BarcodeLinkUilessFlow and documents setDisconnectionTimeout.

Checks

npm run build and npm run docs:gate pass.

Product owners confirmed these facts.

Anonymization defaults differ between the two ID products, so both pages
now say so:
- ID Capture: IdCaptureSettings.anonymizationMode defaults to
IdAnonymizationMode.FieldsOnly on every platform, and None turns
anonymization off. The fields in the anonymized-documents table, such as
German document numbers, come back empty because of this default, not
  because of a scanning error.
- ID Bolt: the default is AnonymizationMode.None, and FieldsOnly gives the
  SDK's behavior.

ID Bolt is hosted, not cloud-based: Scandit serves the UI, and scanning runs
on the user's device, in the browser. Scandit's servers never see identity
data in readable form, and device handover goes through Scandit's relay,
end-to-end encrypted.

Also fixes two copy-paste errors: the iOS MatrixScan Find page named
MatrixScan Count and the Barcode Count mode, and the MatrixScan Pick intro
named MatrixScan Find.

- Scanning modes: Single (Smart Scan Selection) replaces Accuracy and Speed
from Express 4.3.0 on iOS and 4.4.0 on Android. Batch needs a MatrixScan
license and list building. List building is described as an option, not
  a mode.
- Scan Labels: use the Dashboard names Smart Device Label, Price Label and
  VIN Label.
- Parser description: drop AAMVA from the format list.

Applied to the current docs and the 7.6.15 copies.

… building license

Device pairing page, checked against the published @scandit/web-barcode-link
1.2.0 package:
- Call the setBarcodeLinkMode setting "Barcode Link mode", so it isn't
confused with the Express app's Single and Batch scanning modes.
- Use BarcodeLinkSymbology constants as symbology keys; the hand-typed
  `ean13upca` key didn't match the package's `ean13Upca`.
- Warn that setBarcodeRegexValidation drops regex flags and keeps the
  closing slash.
- Describe `finished` as the end-of-session signal in every mode, and
check it in the quick-start example.
- Fix the initialize() and dispose() signatures, import
BarcodeLinkHeadlessFlow in its example, and note that
  setDisconnectionTimeout needs 1.2.0.
- Bring the 7.6.15 copy up to date: BarcodeLinkHeadlessFlow instead of the
  deprecated BarcodeLinkUilessFlow, and setDisconnectionTimeout.

Express overview and configuration: list building doesn't need a MatrixScan
license; Batch mode does.
